Hartwell--Jessica Ann Ray, 18, of 437 Old Reed Creek Road, died Monday April 6, 
2009 at Greensboro Memorial Hospital.

Born April 25, 1990 in Stephens County, she is the daughter of Anthony Ray of 
Hartwell and Romona Holloway Floyd and stepdaughter of Dennis Floyd of Hartwell. 
She is a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Dawsonville and attended Hart 
County High School.

Survivors include her parents, a brother, Cameron Floyd, Hartwell; paternal 
grandparents, Kenneth and Jean Ray of Gainesville; maternal grandparents, Madge 
Holloway, Ball Ground, Ga.; paternal step grandparents, Henry and Jean Floyd of 
Hartwell; and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by grandfather, Pledger Holloway.

Funeral services are today, Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of 
the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell. Graveside service will be held a the Mt. 
Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery, Kelly Bridge Road, Dawsonville at 3 p.m. today.
