Hartwell, Ga., January 27 - James Benson Teasley, 7 year old son of Mr. and 
Mrs. J. Loyd Teasley, passed away at 8 o'clock Tuesday morning at the home of 
his parents on Benson street, after an illness of several months. He was a pet 
of Hartwell people. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three 
sisters, Miss Elizabeth Teasley of Brenau College, and Misses Alice and Grace 
Teasley. The sad death occurred on the thirty-third anniversary of the death 
of his maternal great-grandfather, Honorable John B. Benson, Hartwell's 
pioneer merchant and editor. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 
afternoon.

Hart Co. cemetery records show James Benson Teasley, born 10 Apr 1918, died 27 
Jan 1925, son of J.Loyd and Grace B., buried Northview cemetery.
