Atlanta Constitution, 21 Aug 1894 
Hartwell, Ga., August 20 - Mrs. Dr. J. L. Turner died here this morning at 11 
o'clock. 

Additional Comments:
Elbert Co. marriage records show Joel L. Turner and Mary L. Jones were married 
on 12 Dec 1850. Hart Co. cemetery records show Mary Louise Turner, wife of Dr. 
J.L., born 3 Jan 1835, died 20 Aug 1894, and Joel L. Turner, born 5 Jan 1825, 
died 18 Mar 1897, both buried at Cokesbury Methodist Church cemetery.
