Ellen Jane Bobo Teal , daughter of Dempsie and Nancy (Edmonds) Bobo. She married William James Jonathan Teal and had nine children. Her husband went into the Georgia 12th ( CIVIL WAR SERVICE; Served Co. B. 12th GA. infantry, prisoner of war records, indicate he was taken prisoner JJ Teal priv. Co E, 12 th Georgia Infantry was captured near Petersburg VA March 25, 1865 and sent to Point Lookout MD where he was released on May 14 1865. received pension f from state of TX where he applied.) Apparently she moved with her family the Bobo's during that time to Marshall Co. ALA. He came home from the service to Marshall Co. ALA, where they lived for several years. They were divorced in 1877 in a lengthy and bitter divorce in Marshall Co. ALA. He remarried Martha Ann Elizabeth Beck August 1881 in Marshall Co. ALA, and had seven more children. He and Martha are buried at Tennison, Coke Co. Texas.
