Atlanta Constitution, 22 Oct 1905 
Hartwell, Ga., October 21 - Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Benson of Hartwell announce the 
engagement of their daughter Grace Turner to Mr. James Loyd Teasley of 
Hartwell, the marriage to occur at home November 22. The ceremony will be 
largely attended. Quite a number of friends and relatives from several states 
will be present. Miss Benson is a young lady of rare beauty of brunette type 
and quite popular. She is a graduate of Lucy Cobb Institute at Athens. Mr. 
Teasley is a popular young business man of Hartwell, being the junior member 
of the firm of T. W. Teasley and Co., merchants. After the marriage Mr. and 
Mrs. Teasley will go on an extended tour through New York and the east.

Hart Co. cemetery records show James Loyd Teasley, born 5 Nov 1879, died 24 
May 1947, son of Thomas W. and Elizabeth Sadler Teasley, and Grace Turner 
Benson Teasley, born 27 Sep 1883, died 26 Dec 1972, both buried Northview 
cemetery in Hartwell.
