Atlanta Constitution, 11 Dec 1902 
Announcement is made of the approaching wedding of Miss Anne Burks, a niece of 
Mrs. Joseph M. Terrell, and Mr. L. E. Meredith, one of the most prominent 
business men of Hartwell. The wedding will take place at the residence of Mrs. 
J. P. Thornton of LaGrange on December 30 at  2 o'clock in the afternoon. Miss 
Burks is a charming young lady and has many friends throughout Georgia, while 
Mr. Meredith is recognized as one of the most sterling and able young business 
men in the state
