Atlanta Constitution, 20 Sep 1908 
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Nabors of Spartanburg, SC announce the engagement of their 
daughter Caroline to Colonel Steve Skelton of Hartwell, Ga., the marriage to 
take place at the residence of the bride's parents in Spartanburg at noon, 
October 28. 

Additional Comments:
Hart County cemetery records show Alexander Stephens Skelton, born 4 Jul 1878, 
died 15 Feb 1976, and Caroline Nabors Skelton, born 17 Jan 1883, died 31 May 
1981, both buried Northview cemetery, Hartwell.
