Georgia, Heard County
To the Ordinary of Said County:
The following is the Schedule of Property of  J.B. Yates who is the head of a 
family consisting of himself, his wife M.E. Yates and 7 minor children to wit:
Melborn age 17 years,  Georgia age 15 years,  Henry age 13 years,  Burice ? 
age 11 years,  Ervin age 6 years,  Lawrence age 3 years,   Eunice age ?? years.

Claimed to be exempt from levy and sale for the use and benefit of his said 
wife and family under Section 2866 of the Code of Georgia and the same having 
been selected and  set aside by him and his said wife:

One Dun ? Cow and Calf
2 head of hogs and fifty dollars worth of provisions to wit:  twenty four 
bushels of corn, 30 lb meat
Household and kitchen furniture, cooking utineils, table ware, beds and 
bedding and common bedsteads and chairs sufficient for the use of the family
Common tools of trade of self and wife
Wearing apparel of self and family
One New Ideal sewing machine
Family Bible and religious works and school books
Cotton cards and fifteen pounds of cotton
600 lbs fodder, 30 bu cotton seed

Personally appeared,  J.B. Yates the applicant for exemption above set out, 
who on oath says that the same is a true and correct Schedule of his Property 
which is claimed to be exempt to depondent and family under Section 2866 of 
the Code and following sections which deponent prays may be recorded as 
provided by law.  Signed,  J.B. Yates
