F. Nations who is the head of a family consisting of himself, his wife Sarah E. Nations and two minor chldren to wit: Lula (or Leila?) Nations age 12 years and Rufus R. Nations age 7 years. Claimed to be exempt from levy and sale for the use and benefit of his said wife and family under Section 2040 of the code of Georgia and the following sections: One 1 horse wagon Homemade Thimble Skein Wooden Axes One buggy Home repaired iron axle no top One white and black spotted ox named Buster about six years old with horns Carpenter Tools to wit: Five augers, four handaws, one brace and drill set of bits from 1/8 to 1 inch. Two extra ??? Two Jack Planes Two fore plows? Two smoothers? Three wood vices, four schew? plates and fins for same, one billows and one anvil. One red cow with white face no horns, with red and white spotted calf Cow four years old, calf about ten months old 5 pairs tongs, one sledge One sled Three hand hammers One black and sandy spotted pig four years old Lot of fowls Household and Kitchen furniture of a value not exceeding twenty five dollars Wearing apparel of himself and family 2 wash pots and tubs Personally appeared, J. F. Nations the applicant for exemption above set out who on oath says that the same is a true and correct schedule of his property which is to be exempt to deponent and family under Section 2040 of the Code and following sections, which deponent prays may be recorded as provided by law.
