State of Georgia, Heard County

Pursuant to the Last Will and Testament of William JONES, deceased, and by 
virtue of an order from the Court or Ordinary of said County. After public 
notice made in the Georgia Banner and Sentinel, I, Alfred N. JONES, executor 
of the Last Will and Testament of William Jones, deceased, did on the first 
Tuesday in November 1857 expose for sale to the highest bidder at Franklin, 
between the legal hours for sale, the south half of lot #130 in the 12th 
District of originally Carroll County, now Heard County, containing 101 1/4 
acres. At public outcry said land was knocked off to Charles W. Mabry, he 
being the highest bidder at the price of $66. Now therefore this indenture 
made the 4th day of November 1857 between Alfred N. Jones, Executor of the 
Last Will and Testament of William Jones, deceased, late of Randolph County,  
State of Alabama of the one part, and Charles W. Mabry of the county and state 
aforesaid of the other part for the sum of $66, all of the south half of lot 
of land #130 in the 12th District or originally Carroll County, now Heard 
County and containing 101 1/4 acres equal to the original survey. Signed,
