At the noon hour the basket lunch was spread on a table under the big oak trees. The afternoon was enjoyed with conversation, talks and singing, which granddad and grandmother seemed to enjoy so much, after which prayer was led by granddad. My prayer is that they may enjoy many more such days and on that great day it will be a final reunion, an unbroken family circle around the great white throne. ___ TEXAS Community News Mrs. Lewis Golden visited her parents, T.B. and Mrs. Foster, of near LaFayette, Ala., this weekend. ____ Mrs. Duffie Jones and Mrs. Gene Wilson of Roanoke, spent Sunday with Granny Kitchens who is still very feeble. ___ Miss Nadine Foster, of LaFayette, Ala., has been visiting her sister, Mrs. Lewis Golden. _____ Misses Eunice and Janice Hughey of near Elery, spent weekend with Era and Bonzell Mulkey. ____ Mrs. Luther O'Neal is on the sick list this week. ___ Woodrow and Minnie Golden and Paul and Nell Barnes of White Plains, Ala., visited in this community Sunday night. ___ Hammond and Mrs. Kirby and children attended a reunion at Tommie Head's Sunday. ___ GLENN Community News Miss Ozella Adams of Columbus, spent the weekend with her parents, Grover and Mrs. Adams. ___ Cephus Adams spent several days last week in Florida, returning Monday. ___ Robert Whitley visited relatives in Atlanta this weekend. ___ Mrs. Bill Williams of LaGrange, is visiting Jim Wilson and family and attending the Baptist Revival which began Sunday.
