The weapon was a shotgun and facts are meager. It is said that May was drinking and disorderly and when he came by the store and was required to leave, that he went back to his home, got his gun and came back, firing a load at close range and without warning into Daniel as he stood at his cash register. Dr. J.L. Taylor rendered first aid and had Daniel rushed to the hospital in LaGrange where he is said to be in precarious condition, the full extent of the wound not determined as we go to press. May has been lodged in jail. _____ GLENN Community News Paul Laws visited his brother, Bob Laws, in Montgomery on Sunday. __ Mrs. Fannie Paul McClain visited home folks over the weekend. __ Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Jewell Moody of Roanoke, Ala, to G.W.
