ELEY One year ago, May 16, he went away, and the sun never rises but that our thoughts are of him, and it never sets but that we think of that last sundownwhen he went about his work cheerful and happy. And in the peacefulness and stillness of the night God reached out his hand and said "come". We are satisfied that this preparations were made and though the call came suddenly he was ready to go. A year ago we would have called him back if it had been in our power but now we look over a war torn world and thank god that he is spared the worry and sorrow and that he is resting peacefully, resting from a life of labor, a life of sacrifice for us whom he loved, a life of doing good for others.
