TEXAS Community News

We are glad to say that Mr. Byrd Gore and Mrs. Tommie Cook are both 
convalescent.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Reid from Michigan have been visiting the latter's parents, 
Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Cooper. They will return to their home next week.
__

SIMPSON News

Miss Buela Mae Cavender and Mr. Kenneth Pope got married last Saturday.
__

Mr.and Mrs. Edgar Arrington and children were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. 
Charlie White and family last Sunday.
__

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Brazeal and Henry and Render Chapman were the Sunday 
evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie White.
__

S/Sgt. Fred Heard is at the hospital in Rome, GA but was able to come home on 
a three day pass last week.
__

ROCKALO News

M.C. Shelnutt and famly of Mexico spent a while with Mr. and Mrs. Noah 
Shelnutt and Billy, Mr. Shelnutt is returning home with them for a visit.

Mrs. Gilbert Gay and grandson of Rome has been visiting friends and relatives 
here.
__

Mrs. John Mulkey of LaGrange has been visiting Mrs. Shelnutt.

LOCAL News

Mrs. P.T. McCutchen continues quite indisposed, unable to be up but a little 
at a time.
