Hyatt Mrs. A.C. Johnson Mr. C.H. Avery of Hogansville Mrs. and Mrs. Highsmith of Heflin, Ala Mrs. Ambrose Spradlin Mrs. Lizzie Caswell Mr. Rob Gladney Mr. Calvin Roberts Mrs. Lizzie Caswell sang a song in memory of Mrs. Sarah Bailey of Woodland, Ala., mother of Travis Bailey who died Easter Sunday while visiting one of her daughters, Mrs. Eddie Fincher of Atlanta. We missed Mr. Frank Rogers and Mr. A.E. Walls who were absent from singing because of sickness. ____ Sorry to hear of the illness of Mrs. Lune Chatman at the Clinic in Carrollton, GA. __ Mrs. Babe Thompson and Mrs. Mat Flourney still continue very low. __ Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Hines and Mr. and Mrs. Ward from Hogansville spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Brazeal. ---- Mr. and Mrs. Dolphus Craven and children spent Sunday with Mr. Hugh Craven and family. Sorry to report Miss Maude Craven on the sick list and hope she is much better soon. __ NEWSPAPER Issue of Friday, May 27, 1949 TEXAS Community News Everyone with relatives buried at Prospect Cemetery are asked to meet Saturday morning to help clean the cemetery and church grounds. The Annual Homecoming will be the first Sunday in June. __ Mrs. Ralph Reed of Anniston, Missouri is visiting her father, Mr. Charlie Cooper and other relatives. __ Miss Lillian Caswell is with her sister Mrs. Hoyt Arrington while she is regaining her strength following an operation. __ Mrs. Walter Stephens is visiting her son and family in Wedowee, Ala. __ Mrs. Melvin Mooney visited her daughter Mrs. Jim Cook on Saturday. __ The many friends of Mrs. Warner Awbrey wish her a speedy recovery. She is in the Heard County Memorial Hospital. __ Mrs. George Fuller Jr. of West Point visited her sister Mrs. Lewis Golden last week. __ LOCAL News The friends here of Mrs. Nannie Lane will regret to learn that she is critically ill at her home in Atlanta. __ Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Hammond and children of Newnan spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Wivis Jones. __ Mr. and Mrs. C.G. Rudolph, and Mrs. Curt Beyer and children returned to their home in St. Louis after a visit with Mr. and Mrs. L.E. Long. __ WELCOME Community News Mr. and Mrs. Hershel Shirey and baby and Mr. and Mrs. Amos Rooks were afternoon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bailey. __ Mr. and Mrs. W.S. Tuggle and daughter of Emerson, Mr. Hugh Lee Tuggle of Clarksville and Mr. and Mrs. D.C.
