PLEASANT News, by Suzie Middlebrooks We were made to feel very sad on last Wednesday when the news came that our long time friend Alvin Davis had died very suddenly in LaGrange where he had been running a small grocery store for over a year. He leaves six sisters and five brothers to mourn his passing. __ Also, the sad news reached us from LaGrange Hospital that Mrs. Willie Sue Nelms had failed to survive an operation to remove a Goiter which has caused her so much pain for many years.
