Runels was taken very ill in the home of Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Talley Sunday night. Her visitors were Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Drummond, Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Bledsoe, Mrs. Ida Phillips, Robert Culpepper, Bonnie Noles, also her sister Mrs. Ida Hyatt. __ WELCOME Community News Mr. Harold Todd and family recently moved near Glenloch on Mr. Alton McWhorter's Dairy farm. __ EPHESUS News Mr. Johnnie Hammonds is improving after a severe attack of illness. __ Mr. Robert Huddleston of the U.S. Marines is spending a furlough with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Joe David Huddleston. __ MT. PLEASANT News The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Newt Kirk will be glad to know they have moved into the house of her brother and family Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Arnett for the winter. Both are no longer young and Mrs. Kirk is in a very feeble condition. __ We are sorry to know that James Nelms was taken seriously ill Saturday and rushed to the Franklin Hospital where I learn he is in a very serious condition. We wish for him a speedy recovery. __ We were shocked to learn Sunday that Bert Davis was taken seriously ill Saturday while delivering his barter and was rushed to the hospital in LaGrange where he was placed under an oxygen tent. All of his children were called to his bedside. Sunday night he was still unconcious.
