CELEBRATION OF 85th BIRTHDAY OF MRS. ADAMSON

Last Friday (Feb 28, 1924) was a great day for Mrs. S.H. Adamson of Glenn, 
Georgia. Four generations met with her to celebrate her birthday. She was 85 
years old and about 65 of her descendants were present with her. Her children 
present were Green, S.J. and R.D. Adamson, Mrs. Ella Adams, Mrs. J.M. Hester 
and Mrs. Ludy Smith. The gathering was at the home of her son, Green Adamson 
and after dinner was served, Rev. W.T. Overton, Mr. Allen Bailey and S.J. 
Adamson made appropriate talks. Mrs. Adamson responded to these in a very 
impressive way. It is a very rare occasion when you can get five generations 
together as did the Adamsons. May they have many more such occasions.
