Mr. William Thomas Arrington

Mr. William Thomas Arrington, 76, of Grady Smith Street, Grantville, Ga., died 
Thursday, March 1, 2001 at his residence.

Mr. Arrington was born July 16, 1924 in Heard County, Ga. He was a retired 
roofer.

The family was receiving friends at Martin and Hightower Hillcrest Chapel 
funeral home in Newnan Friday, March 2 from 6-9 p.m.

A funeral will be at Martin and Hightower Hillcrest Chapel Saturday, March 3 at 
2 p.m. The Rev. David Arrington will officiate. Burial will be in Grantville 
Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Arrington, Donnie Arrington, Jason Arrington, 
Jeffery Arrington, Russell Arrington, Ronnie Shelnutt and Willie Shelnutt.

Surviving are sons, Stanley Arrington of Grantville, Wade Arrington of Newnan 
and Wayne Arrington of Hogansville; daughter, Peggy Harris of Grantville; 
brother, Clyde Arrington of Newnan; sister, Pete Shellnut of Newnan; 14 
grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
