death of our dear aunt, Miss Matilda Ashley. May God's richest blessings be

NEWNAN HOME AFFAIRS News

Miss Matilda Ashley, an estimable lady of the community, died on Tuesday of 
last week. Death was caused by pneumonia after an illness of three days. She 
was an aunt of Mr. J.B. Ashley of this city and was 78 years of age. The 
remains were interred on the following day at Salem church, Heard county, 6 
miles west of Franklin.
