Thursday Rites Set For Mrs. Fincher

    Funeral Services for Mrs. Fronia Davis Fincher, 71, Rock Mills, Ala.  
who died December 8 at Randolph County Hospital will be held 3:30pm Thursday 
at Unity Baptist Church.
    Rev. Jesse F. Knight, pastor will officiate assisted by Rev. Jeff 
Talley and Rev. Arthur McCullough. Internment will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery 
with Groover (?) and Burnette (?) Funeral Directors in charge.
    The grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The remains will be at the 
residence of her daughter, 807 Callaway Avenue and the funeral home. Mrs. 
Fincher was born September 16, 1879 in Randolph County, Ala. She resided there 
most of her life. She is survived by her husband A.J. Fincher, Rock Mills, 
three daughters Mrs. E. A. Mapp and Mrs. O.R. Prestridge both of Rock Mills, 
Mrs. L. Wood LaGrange, three sons Charlie, Rufus and Bonner Fincher all of 
LaGrange.
    Three sisters Mrs. Lucy Mathews and Miss Carrie Davis both of Wedowee, 
Ala., Mrs. D.L. (?) Marshall Moultrie, Ga., three brothers Sam and Henry Davis 
both of Newell, Ala., Hiram Davis Birmingham, Ala., and 31 grandchildren.

Sophronia "Fronie" "Fronia" K. Davis Fincher's husband was Andrew Jackson 
Fincher.

Sophronia K. Davis Fincher's parents were William Euzell and Martha Lewis 
Davis.

Brothers and Sisters of Sophronia K. Davis Fincher were: John William Davis, 
Mary Elizabeth Davis Benefield, Lucy Frances N. Davis Mathews, Hiram James 
Davis, Samuel "Sam" Jesse Davis, Delia Jerushra Davis, Henry Thomas Davis and 
Carrie Mae Jane Davis.
