HILLY, Thomas, Southern Christian Advocate, 8/10/1838, "Thomas Hilly, 
Revolutionary Soldier, was born in Virginia April 26, 1754; moved from 
Virginia about 45 years ago and settled in Wilkes, now Elbert County, Georgia, 
where he resided until January last when he moved with his son, Thomas, to 
Heard County, Georgia where he died March 22, 1838. "
