CAMILLA JACKSON HUTCHENS On the night of June 13, 1907, death visited the home of Bro. T.A. Hutchens and carried his beloved companion, sister Camilla Jackson Hutchens to that home where there is no more pain nor sorrow. Sister Hutchens was born in Heard County, Georgia on June 18, 1872. She lived in her home county until she married, when she moved to Coweta county and that was her home when death claimed her. She united with the Baptist church at Centralhatchee on August 14, 1887 but at the time of her death she was a member of Providence Baptist church. She leaves a devoted husband and five children to mourn their loss. As a wife and mother she was thoughtful and affectionate, always considerate of her husband's and children's wishes; as a neighbor she was sympathetic and obliging and as a christian she was faithful and zealous. Therefore, be it resolved that; we extend our deepest sympathy to the bereaved husband and dear children and ask them to find comfort in these words" the lord gave and the lord taketh way, blessed be the name of the lord." Resolved, that Providence Church has lost a faithful member in the death of Sister Hutchens and we ask the members of her church to imitate her life by living for christ. Resolved, that this memorial be placed on our church book and a copy furnished the Herald and Advertiser and Newnan News for publication. Respectfully submitted, J.W. Summers, J.C. McKoy, C.T.
