Mr. H.B. Lane of Hogansville died on Friday last after a long illness. For 
many years, Mr. Lane was a beloved citizen of Franklin and had hosts of 
friends in this county. He was a good man and though he had passed his 
threescore and ten years, and had long ago retired from active business, his 
fair dealing and courtesies to the public are still remembered by many with
