NEIGHBORHOOD News

The Franklin News announces the death of Mrs. Eva Miller, the wife of Mr. 
Willis Miller. She was the daughter of Major Gillespie, and a sister to Rev. 
T.A. Gillespie, deceased, who for some years published and edited the Franklin 
News.  Mrs. Miller was a victim of the typhoid malarial fever, which has during 
the last two years made so many untimely graves in Heard county and it is sad 
to think that so large a number of the victims have been those whose lifes had 
but just begun.
