On ?? night at his home in Franklin, Georgia, Mr. R.B. Mooty died following 
a period of ill health extending over two ???. He was 75 years of age. 
Interment will be in Franklin tomorrow. He used to be a familiar figure in 
Roanoke in his more ?? days. He was the father of ?? Mooty of this city. 
Other children are R.O. Mooty of Birmingham, ? U. Mooty of Texas; L.W. ?? of 
Ohio, Mrs. J.S. Thompson of Akron, Ohio is a ?? of the deceased. All of the 
children will be present at the funeral except the son in Texas. Mr. Mooty 
was long a leading figure of Heard county and was a member of the Methodist 
church. He was the last surviving member of a prominent family of six sons 
and two daughters.
