Mr. Nixon

Paul Dewey Nixon, age 88, beloved citizen of Route 5, Franklin (Ephesus 
Community) passed away Thursday, December 29, 1988 at Franklin Health Care 
Center [Heard Co., Georgia].

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Dec. 31 at 2 p.m. from the Macedonia 
Baptist Church in Heard County.  The Revs. Monroe Wiggins and Marshall Avery 
officiated.  Interment was in the church cemetery.  Vocal music was rendered by 
the Scott Sisters accompanied by Miss Kayla Harrod.

Mr. Nixon was a native of Heard County where he resided most of his life.  Hew 
was caretaker of the L. L. Rogers estate.  He attended the Macedonia Baptist 
Church.

Survivors include one sister-in-law, Mrs. Geraldine Nixon of LaGrange; a number 
of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Tom Stutts and Son Funeral Home of Franklin, Ga. was in charge of arrangements.

Nixon, Grandfather of Mrs. Bowen.
