Mrs. Wiggins

Mrs. Annie Zora (Nixon) Wiggins, age 81, of Rt. 1, Graham, Ala., died Saturday, 
Oct. 31, 1981 at her late residence, following an extended illness.

She was the wife of the late Elisha Pierce Wiggins, who preceded her in death 
in 1972.  Born in Heard County on Oct. 20, 1900, the daughter of the late 
Samuel D. and Elizabeth (Wilson) Nixon.

She was survived by five sons, William Pierce Wiggins of Bowdon, Ga., E.J. 
Wiggins, of Graham, Barney Z. Wiggins, of Woodland, Ala., Billy Ed Wiggins, of 
Graham and Willy Fred Wiggins of Graham; one daughter, Mrs. Willene Williams, 
of Graham; three brothers, Johnson Nixon of Lanette (sic), Ala., Wiley B. 
Nixon, of Heard County, Frank Nixon of Lanett; two sisters Mrs. Grace Tittle of 
Lanett and Mrs. Essie Baughn of Ranburn, Ala.; also survived by 16 
grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services were Nov. 1, at the Bethlehem Campground United Methodist Church, with 
the Rev. Jim Woods and the Rev. W. M. Wiggins officiating.  Music was rendered 
by the church choir, under the direction of Luray Smith and Mrs. Inez 
Holliday.  Harvey Ward was the pianist. Internment followed in the church 
cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Tony Wiggins, 
Edward Wiggins, Billy Wiggins, Randy Harris, Tim Wiggins and Bobby Bates.
