This is a picture of CSA Thomas Newton Lipham, he was born on Oct 7. 1827, and 
died on Apr 9, 1894.

He was a Primitive Baptist minister for over 30 years he was the founder of 
Valley Grove Church in Randolph County Al. 

He was a Private in Company F, 2nd Georgia Cavalry (State Guards) I am guessing 
from Heard County, his first wife Rebecca Harcrow is buried in an unmarked 
grave in Heard County, he and his second wife Lucinda Carpenter are buried here 
in Randolph County at Valley Grove.
