John Henry Brown married Birtice Maybell Gay on 7 December 1929 (record of 
marriage found at Franklin Courthouse, Franklin, Heard County, Georgia.

John Henry Brown was born 8 January 1890 in Heard County, Georgia and died 24 
June 1964 in LaGrange, Troup County, Georgia. John is buried in the Restlawn 
Memorial Gardens Cemetery, LaGrange, Troup County, Georgia. John's parents 
were Benjamin "Ben" E. and Mary Jane Strickland Brown. John's parents are 
buried in the Big Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Randolph County, Alabama.

Birtice Maybell Gay Brown was John Henry's wife. Birtice Maybell Gay Brown was 
born 5 April 1910 in Randolph County, Alabama and died 3 May 1973 in LaGrange, 
Troup County, Georgia. Birtice is buried alongside her husband John Henry 
Brown in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, LaGrange, Troup County, 
Georgia. Birtice's parents were Thomas "Tom" Jefferson and Willie Dee Veal 
Gay. Birtice's parents are buried in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, 
Hillabehatchee, Randolph County, Alabama.
