WEDOWEE News
Oct. 15th

Sunday evening, Miss Erma Bailey and Mr. Osward Holmes took a trip to Heard 
County, Georgia and were married while over there. The bride is the daughter 
of Mr. Tom Bailey and is one of Wedowee's brightest young ladies. Mr. Holmes 
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charley Holmes who lives in the Swagg community, 
about eight miles west of Wedowee. We wish for these young people a happy life.

Mr. Perry Bailey who lives in East Point, Georgia is visiting his brother Mr. 
Tom Bailey. He came here last week to attend the burial of his mother Mrs. Ann 
Bailey which took place at Haywood. Mr. Bailey was reared in this county and 
his many friends are glad to see him.
