PROMINENT COUPLE MARRIED ON SATURDAY

Last Saturday evening at the residence of Mr. E.O. Kitchens Jr. in this city, 
his father, Mr. E.O. Kitchens Sr. was married to Mrs. Mittie Bartlett.  Rev. 
J.M. Yates was the officiating minister. Mr. and Mrs. Kitchens went to their 
home in Heard County, Georgia. Both the bride and groom are well known in this 
county and in Heard County, Ga.  The many friends of these good people unite 
in congratulations and good wishes.

Mrs. Minnie Bartlett was the 2nd wife of Edward Oliver Kitchens.  His first 
wife, Sallie [Green] Kitchens, passed away in May 1925.   Her obituary is
