LOCAL News

A happy event of last week was the marriage of Mr. Oliver Davis of this city 
to Miss Willie Belle Lee of Franklin. The ceremony took place Tuesday 
evening, the 9th inst. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Powers in Franklin. Rev. 
Mr. Harris officiated. The bride was attended by Miss Lutie Powers of 
Franklin. Mr. Walker Brooks of Newnan was best man. The young couple have 
set up housekeeping at their pleasant country home one mile east of Newnan 
where they are busy receiving the congratulations of their friends.
