It was originally located near the intersection of Panola Road and Fairfield Drive in Henry County, Georgia at the approximate GPS location shown above. The original surveyor, Franklin Garrett, wrote in 1932: "Although known as the 'Callaway Cemetery', this old cemetery contains no inscribed Callaway markers. There are five graves over which are erected elaborate wooden shelters. They bear no names. The entire cemetery area is a tangle of weeds and vines." He went on to record information on the two Lewis headstones. Additional research* has suggested that the missing graves are those of the three Callaways indicated below. Currently the area is residential.
