Introduction:
This cemetery is located in Land Lot 181 of the 3rd district of Henry County, Hampton, 
Georgia. This cemetery is located within a leased hunting facility.  The owner has
requested that no directions be given to this cemetery, and will not allow or welcome
anyone onto their property.  This cemetery is inactive.  

Margaret Bland (mjmbland@mindspring.com), who is the great great granddaughter of William 
Gaines Brown, provided the following information:

Parker Eason was born in Wilkes Co. GA in 1798 to Isaac and Elizabeth Eason, and there 
married Penelope Milner, a daughter of Pitt Milner and wife Apsilla Holmes.  In Henry 
County, where they settled in 1823, he served as Justice of Inferior Court.  He was licensed 
to preach, but did not make this his calling, since he was a quiet man and not comfortable 
with public speaking.  He was greatly interested in education and schools, and made contributions 
generously to schools of that day, especially to Griffin Marshall College (a Baptist college for 
young men).  In order to find good schools for ALL his grandchildren, ranging from 4-19 years old 
in 1860 (the eldest grandson had received his inheritance and left home), he moved to Spalding 
County.   After living there for several years, he moved back to Henry County.  In 1866 he had a 
stroke and died quietly at his residence in January of 1875.
