Introduction:
This cemetery is located in Land Lot 6 of the 7th district of Henry County, McDonough, 
Georgia.  I75S to Exit 222 (Jodeco Rd./Flippen).  East to dead-end (GA Hwy. 23/42), left.  Right 
on Campground Rd.  Left on GA Hwy. 155 (Decatur Rd.).  Cemetery behind home in pasture at 
the intersection of Decatur Rd./Price Quarters Rd. enclosed by barbed-wire fence.  This is an 
inactive cemetery.  

Joseph Jordan Johnson was the son of Jordan Johnson & his 2nd wife Martha J. Mann (daughter 
of Rebecca Davis & Jonathon Mann).  Joseph married Lura Morton Benton (daughter of Harriet 
A. Hopkins Benton Harkness) on 09/27/1873.  They had nine children, four of whom are buried 
here.
