Kelley daughter of Benjamin & Clary Moseley Although available records show they are buried here, their gravesites were moved to Kelley Presbyterian Church by family members, along with Henry, Clifton & Thomas Kelley. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Benjamin Moseley and his brother Silas Moseley were one of the first settler's in Henry County (see Moseley family cemetery info). Reuben Kelley married Mary Moseley, a daughter of Benjamin and settled near her family in the community which became known as Kellytown. The old homeplace was recently torn down to make way for the above-referenced subdivision, but had been an integral part of the community for over a century and a half. Two of the Kelley daughters (Mary & Reuben) married a dentist, Dr. Maston Evans Berry, from Troy, Alabama. Dr. Berry was part of Co. B 51 Ala-Partisan Rangers CSA, and is buried in McDonough Cemetery. Francis Kelley married Henry Franklin Green, Co. K 22 Reg Ga Inf., who was wounded in the leg in Gettysburg, PA on July 2, 1862. Reportedly, Henry Holcombe Moseley, the only son of Benjamin & Clary, died about the same time as his wife and an infant son and all were buried in the same grave. The relationship of the Dickey & Willingham family is unknown to this compiler, but will be updated as information becomes available. I do know how the Willinghams fit into this family. Darius Willingham was married to Sarah Clifton Kelley, the oldest daughter and second child of Reuben Brown Kelley and Mary (Polly) Moseley. They were married in 1844 in Henry County, Georgia. Sarah Kelley Willingham died in Atlanta in 1923. I show in my records that she was buried at “Kelly’s” Church in Stockbridge, Georgia. I have a list of their children, of which Mattie, Laura and Reuben are included. Darius and Sarah are my maternal grandmother’s grandparents. My grandmother spoke of the Dickeys and thought she was related to them. I have not figured this out yet!
