I-675S to Exit 3 (Ellenwood/Forest Park), East on Ellenwood Road, which will become Panola Road. Brief left on East Atlanta Road, right on Fairview. Cemetery on right between Thurman Drive and Patillo Road. This cemetery is on a main thoroughfare between I-675 and GA Hwy. 155. There are two tombs above ground which are labeled by a small signed denoting John South (unknown other person). These tombs are crude concrete, literally placed together end-to-end. Separation at ends of at least 4 has occurred, allowing visibility into tombs. Lilla Alice Pattillo, was married to Francis Bartow Pattillo (buried in Hollywood Cemetery, Atlanta, GA). Lilla was the daughter of John Reeve Jeter and Sara Ann South Pattillo. Francis was the son of John Jeter Patillo & Martha Ann Parker. Magnolia was the child of Francis and Lilla Alice Pattillo. The infant daughter Pattillo, was the daughter of Caroline Elizabeth Williams Selfridge & William Newton South (both buried at Bethel Methodist Church, Henry County, GA). Caroline was the daughter of Frances Ellen Elizabeth Everett & Simeon Clower Selfridge. No further information is available in accessible records on the Souths' located in this cemetery.
