Introduction:
This cemetery is located in Land Lot 227 of the 7th district of Henry County, McDonough, 
Georgia.  I75S to Exit 222 (Jodeco Rd./Flippen).  East to dead-end (GA Hwy. 23/42), left.
Right on Campground Rd.  Left on GA Hwy. 155 (Decatur Rd.).  Cemetery behind home at 
1873 Decatur Rd., enclosed by an ornate iron fence.  This is an inactive cemetery.  

Alexander Price purchased a plat of land bordering Walnut Creek and built Price’s Mill, a 
community sawmill. 

Information on those buried here:
Alexander & Arpy Howard Price were the parents of John R., Joseph B., William H., Eli & 
Sarah E. (buried elsewhere) Price.  No other information is readily available on other members 
buried here, with the exception of Miss Ethel Price.  She was the daughter of John R. & Laura 
Turner Price, and was known to be the last survivor of her family, death date in the 1950’s.
