Thomas M Yarbrough } It appearing to the court that a Minor } Thomas M Yarbrough a minor son of Silas Yarbrough of said County is possessed of considerable estate & being over the age of fourteen has made choice in open court of Silas Yarbrough his Father as his guardian - Therefore ordered by the court that Silas Yarbrough be & be is hereby appointed Guardian of the said Thomas his minor son by giving bond in the sum of six hundred dollars with John R. KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS, THAT WE, Silas Yarbrough principal & John R. Richards security acknowledge ourselves jointly and severally bound unto Quincy R. Nolan ordinary of said county, and his successors and assigns, in the just and full sum of Six hundred dollars, to the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, and the heirs and executors of us and each of us, jointly and severally, by these Pres- ents. Sealed with our seals, and dated this Sixth day of November 1854. The Condition of the above Obligation is such, That if the above bound Silas Yarbrough who was this day appointed Guardian of the person and property of Thomas M Yarbrough minor Child of said Silas Yarbrough over fourteen years of age acknowledging of the same his acceptance of said appointment, and of Letters of Guardianship of this date; shall well and truly maintain, clothe and educate said minor according to his circumstances, and shall take good and lawful care of his person and property according to the laws of this State, and shall annually make a just and true return of all his actings and doings herein, unto the said Court, then this obligation to be void: else to remain in full force.
