Georgia          }  This Indenture made this the twenty Seventh day of August
Henry County}   in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred & twenty four; 
between Abner Couper of the County & State aforesaid of the one part &
John G. Fry of the Same said State & County of the other part
Witnesseth that the Said Abner Couper for & in consideration of the Sum of
one hundred dollars to him in hand paid by said John g. Fry at & before the
sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt & payment whereof is hereby
acknowledged have bargained sold & conveyed & by these presents do bargain 
sell & convey unto the said John G. Fry his heirs & assigns forever all that 
tract or parcel of Land lying & being situate in the Seventh district of the 
County aforesaid & bounded as follows, Viz, beginning on a lightwood Stake 
corner on the center of the line that is the boundary line of Lot No. one 
hundred & forty five thence running due north a long a conditional marked line 
until the same strikes the center of the line that is the North boundary line 
of the aforesaid lot of land on a Lightwood Stake thence due west a long the 
original marked line to said lot to a white oak the original marked corner of 
said lot thence due South 45 chains a long the original marked line to a 
hickory post corner of said lot thence due East a long the original marked 
line to the beginning corner Containing one hundred one & a fourth acres be 
the same more or less the same being one _____ of the aforesaid Lot. Number 
one hundred & forty five in the Seventh district of Henry County & comprising 
that part lying on the west side thereof together with all & singular the 
rights members hereditiments & apputainances there unto being belonging or in 
anywise appertaining unto the said John G. Fry his heirs & assigns to his and 
their own proper use benefit & behoof forever in fee simple.  And the said 
Abner for myself my heirs Executors and administrators unto the said John G. 
Fry his heirs & assigns the aforesaid bargained premises shall & will forever 
warrant and defend the right & title whereof against me & my heirs & against 
the claim of all other persons claiming or to claim the same
   In witness whereof I the said Abner Couper have hereunto set my hand & 
affixed my seal the day & year first written
