Ellis of Henry County both of the aforesaid state. Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and fifty five dollars the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged I William Dooly hath bargained sold released and conveyed and by these presents do bargain sell release and convey unto the said J.A.Ellis all that tract or parcel of land situated lying and being in the County of Henry and State aforesaid containing two hundred two and one half acres known and distinguished as lot number one hundred and ninety five (195) having such shapes and marks as will fully appear by a reference to the plat on the grant herewith transferred for him the said J.A. Ellis his heirs & assigns to have and to hold the aforesaid bargained premises and all and singular the rights titles hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining forever in fee simple. And I the said William Dooly will bind myself my heirs and assigns forever warrant and defend the right and title to said land free from the lawful challenge or claim of myself or any other person or persons whomsoever so that the said J.A. Ellis his heirs and assigns shall forever be peaceably possessed of the same. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the day and date above.
