	This indenture made this twenty fourth day of August eighteen hundred 
and thirty eight between U.M. Gelder of said county of one part and William 
Ellis of the county of Henry of the other part both of state aforesaid 
Witnesseth that the said Uriah M. Gelder for and in consideration of the sum of 
one thousand dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby 
acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed unto the said William 
Ellis his heirs and assigns all that tract parcel or lot of land situate lying 
and being in the third district of Henry County known and distinguished in plan 
of said district by lot No. (64) sixty four. To have and to hold said bargained 
premises together with all and singular the rites members and appurtenances 
thereunto belonging and the said Uriah M Gelder for himself his heirs and 
assigns doth agree to forever warrant and defend said bargained premises free 
from the claim or claims of each and every person or 
Persons whatsoever unto the said William Ellis his heirs &c in fee simple In 
testimony whereof the said U.M. Gelder hath hereunto put his hand and affixed 
his seal the day and year aforesaid In presence of
