Henry County}    This indenture made the 17th day of December One thousand 
Eight hundred and twenty five between Matthew Waldrop of the County and State 
aforesaid of the one part and Edwin Feat of the county of Putnam & State 
aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Matthew Waldrop for and in 
consideration of the sum of two hundred & fifty dollars to him in hand paid the 
receipt is hereby acknowledged hath grated bargained & sold unto the said 
Edward Feat his heirs Executors administrators and assigns a certain tract or 
parcel of land containing fifty acres more or less known & distinguished by 
beingt one fourth part of lot No 200 lying in the fourteenth District of 
Baldwin now Putnam County adjoining lot No 199 beginning at a stake corner in 
South East corner of said lots thence running South West to a post oak corner 
thence up the road along Warner Sherbutts line to a Stake corner thence N. East 
along John Raineys line to a skate corner thence S. East to the beginning 
together with all and singularthe & appurtenances whatsoever unto the said 
Edwin Feat his heirs & assign to his and their own proper use benefit and 
behoofs the & he the said Matthew Waldrop doth further warrant and forever 
defend the said tract of parcel of land from himself his heirs & assigns also 
from every other person or persons in fee simple. In witness whereof I have 
herunto set my hand & affixed my seal this day and date first above written.

his own act & deed for the purposes therein mentioned to Edwin Feat his 
heirs ?? & that James Ramsey & John Pollard were both subscribing witnesses to 
the same with himself sworn to before me this 27th December 1825
