1st Corpral 4 March 1862, wounded Ellison Mill, VA 26 June 1862, Wounded again 
at Fredericksburg, VA  Dec 18, 1862 in right leg. Discharged at a camp near 
Fredericksburg, VA 28 Dec. 1862.ever right leg wound and walked with a limp the 
remainder of his life.
