The Henry County Weekly November 9, 1923
     The army Four at Fort McPherson, Wayman Barnett, Leader, one of our old 
Henry County boys has invited as his guest, Prof. T. J. Horton, Mr. A. C. 
Norman, Mr. W. J. Pendley, Mr. A. G. Combs, Mr. E. M. Copeland and Mr. W. G. 
Thompson and also others from this county, and they have invited Prof. C. H. 
Bottoms, Prof. C. R. Mullins, and the Union Song Book Quartette, of Atlanta, to 
meet with him and his Quartette, at the service Hall, at Ft. McPherson, on the 
Third Sunday at 1:30 p. m. where they will try to entertain them for about one 
hour, after which all will join in a conventional song service for about two 
hours. The ladies are also invited. All that will except the invitation will 
please notify G. V. Barnett, Hampton, Ga., so he can notify the hostess lady to 
have arrangements made for their entertainment. This will be a great rehearsal, 
for all that will attend.
