The Henry County Weekly August 29, 1930
     Mr. T. H. Elliott celebrated his 81st birthday at his home near Jonesboro, 
Sunday, August 24th, with 65 relatives and friends present. At the noon hour a 
bountiful feast was spread and enjoyed by all.
     Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. Carl Elliott and family, Mr. and Mrs. 
Claude Elliott, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Barrows and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph 
Brock, Mrs. Mollie Huggins, Mr. and Mrs. George Camp and son, Mrs. Nora 
Wolpert, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Elliott, Mr. and Mrs. 
Hubert Yager and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Elliott and baby, Miss Annie Lou 
Crumbley, all of Atlanta. Mrs. and Mrs. Roy Elliott and family, Mr. W. M. Camp 
and children of Rex; Mr. and Mrs. Hardy Reeves, Mr. and Mrs. Olin Wright, Mr. 
and Mrs. Walter Renfrow and family, Mr. Jack Brown, Mr. Henry Pierson, Mr. 
Howard Elliott, Miss Minnie Elliott and Mr. T. H. Elliott, all of Jonesboro.
