The Henry County Weekly December 18, 1896
     Charlie, a little son of Mr. Q. A. Dickson, was badly burned with powder 
last Saturday. He was experimenting with a toy cannon which he had improvised, 
when the powder exploded in his face and disfigured it pretty badly.
