The Henry County Weekly November 23, 1923
~Misses Orlena Welch, Irene Carter, Elon and Eva Lewis spent a few hours with 
Misses Lois and Easter Jones, of Mt. Bethel Sunday morning which reported a 
nice time.

~The candy pulling given by Misses Mary and Nellie Godsey Saturday night was 
enjoyed by a large number of young people.

~Mrs. J. B. Cowan, of Covington, spent Sunday with father-in-law, Mr. N. B. 
Cowan.

~Mr. and Mrs. Lindsey Sowell were the guest of relatives in McDonough Sunday.

~Mr. J. D. Carter spent several days last week at Marietta, Ga., with his 
brother, Mr. Joseph Carter, who was seriously sick but some better.

~Mrs. J. P. Fincher was the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Allie Biggers, near 
Ola, Sunday.

~Miss Irene Carter was the guest of Misses Elon and Eva Lewis, Saturday night 
and Sunday.

~Sorry to know of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Knolls absent of Sunday School and B. Y. 
P. U. on account of sickness.

~Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Haynes was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Milton Sunday.

~Mr. and Mrs. B. L. Morgan and family were the guest of his father, Mr. J. B. 
Morgan, near New Hope.

~Mr. and Mrs. E. Z. CARTER were the guest of Mr. and Mrs. E. G. CARTER Sunday 
afternoon.

~Mrs. W. C. Cowan also Mrs. Raymond Wilkerson visited our School Friday 
afternoon. We welcome them to come back also others.

~Mrs. W. P. Lewis were the guest of Mrs. J. H. Haynes a few hours Sunday.

~Miss Florence Wynn, of Mt. Bethel, spent a few pleasant hours Sunday afternoon 
with Mrs. Garrard Godsey.
