FLIPPEN

~Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Bailey have returned home, after a three weeks visit to 
Elberton.

~Mr. Crew Fields, of Atlanta, is the guest of homefolks at this place this week.

~Miss Mae Glass was the guest of Miss Myrtice Fields Friday.

~Miss Maggie Dailey was the guest of Miss Laura Fields Friday.

~Miss Ella Hood is spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Luke Hood, of East 
Point.

~Mrs. Cora Fields is the guest of her daughter, Mrs. E. M. Foster this week.

~Mrs. Sallie Foster spent Wednesday afternoon with Mrs. Phillips.

~Miss Lois and Florrie Owen spent Thursday with Miss Maggie Dailey.

~Miss Oza Johnson spent Thursday in Tunis.

CONLEY

~Rev. Burdett is now with us at Tanner’s for a revival meeting this week. He 
preached a fine sermon Sunday and I expect to hear one every time I have the 
pleasure of going.

~Mr. George Campbell and wife are visiting the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
J. G. Campbell.

~Mr. Alf Clark is getting on very well with his building.

~Messrs J. M. Avery and L. M. Stephens went to Atlanta last week.

~Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Stephens called on their son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. 
M. Avery, Sunday.

~Messrs. T. Williamson and J. H. Carrol visited the big dam last week and 
reported a nice time fishing.

CENTRAL DOTS

~Miss Eula Archer, of Selina, has been spending a few days with Miss Emma 
Henderson and her brother, Mr. Earnest Archer. She left Sunday for her home.

~Mr. Kenneth Clower played ball for Lovejoy Wednesday, but was beaten by Mt. 
Carmel. Score 8 and 9.

~Misses Emma and Mattie Henderson and Eula Archer were guests of Miss Mable 
Clower Thursday.

~Mrs. Mollie Nipper is visiting her sister, Mrs. Z. T. Peeples.

~Mr. Huie Peeples ate dinner with Kenneth Clower Sunday and went riding in the 
afternoon.

~Mr. Theodore Andrews and Miss Clara Elder were out riding Sunday.
